Bruno Novelli, Born in 1980 in Fortaleza, Brazil, also known as Bruno 9li, is a contemporary artist whose work bridges the realms of folklore, pop culture, and spiritual symbolism. Raised in Porto Alegre and now based in São Paulo, Novelli's artistic journey includes studies in drawing at Ateliê Livre da Prefeitura in Porto Alegre and a degree in graphic design from ESPM in São Paulo. His paintings are renowned for their rich color palettes and complex patterns, often depicting fantastical animals and dreamlike visions inspired by the Amazonian world. Novelli maintains a long-standing dialogue with Huni Kuin Indigenous artists, which profoundly influences his work. His art has been exhibited internationally, including at the Fondation Cartier pour l'art contemporain in Milan and Lille, and the Museu de Arte Contemporânea do Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil.
