Instituto Moreira Salles (IMS), São Paulo, Brazil
This exhibition revisits the 19th-century Amazonian photographs of Albert Frisch, placing them in dialogue with contemporary narratives and the voices of riverine communities. By intersecting historical imagery with present-day perspectives, the project critically reflects on representation, memory, and the enduring social and environmental complexities of the Amazon.
