Brunno Jahara studied industrial design at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio). He moved to Italy, where he collaborated with renowned designer Patricia Urquiola. This experience exposed him to different design philosophies and enriched his perspective on the field. Inspired by his international experiences and eager to contribute to the design scene in Brazil, Jahara returned to his homeland. In 2008, he founded Studio Jahara in Rio de Janeiro. The studio quickly gained attention for its innovative and experimental designs that often blend traditional Brazilian craftsmanship with contemporary aesthetics. Brunno Jahara’s design approach is characterized by its eclectic and playful nature. He draws inspiration from diverse sources, including Brazilian culture, folk art, and everyday objects.
