Map (2012)
Created in 2012, Map is a large-scale C-print by Brazilian artist Sofia Borges, measuring 225 x 150 cm. This work exemplifies Borges's exploration of representation and the boundaries between reality and artifice. By photographing objects such as maps, fossils, and dioramas, she challenges the viewer's perception and invites a deeper contemplation of how we construct and interpret images.
