

Nádia Taquary (Salvador, 1967) is a Salvador-based sculptor and visual artist whose work explores African ancestry and Afro-Brazilian heritage through a contemporary lens. She incorporates materials such as reclaimed wood, gold, silver, beads, cowrie shells, and straw into sculptures, installations, and video works, creating pieces that embody ancestral wisdom, ritual, and empowerment.
