Galeria Ricardo Fernandes will have the honor of hosting an installation by indigenous artist Glicéria Tupinambá, accompanied by a presentation and debate about her work. Glicéria is an important indigenous leader, artist, filmmaker and educator, recognized for her activism in defence of the rights of indigenous peoples, with a focus on education, the productive autonomy of villages and the rights of indigenous women. One of the milestones in her career is the revitalization of the Tupinambá mantles, sacred pieces made from bird feathers, which have deep spiritual and symbolic value for the Tupinambá people.
